From the Summary: “This report presents results from environmental monitoring during discharge of mud and drill cuttings during top hole drilling of four wells at the Morvin field in 2009 and 2010 (Block 6506/11 and production license 134b/c).
Brooks, S., D. M. Pampanin, C. Harman, and E. Dunaevskaya
From the Abstract: “The biological effects of an offshore oil platform on local fish populations were assessed as part of the Water Column Monitoring (WCM) programme for 2014.

From the Abstract: “This report describes the results of a four-year study of the surficial sediments, suspended particulate material and volatile organic hydrocarbons around structures in the Buccaneer Gas and Oil Field in the Gulf of Mexico.
Water column and surficial sediment samples were taken from 1978–1980 in the Buccaneer Gas and Oil Field off Texas. The amount and composition of the suspended particulates showed large spatial and temporal variations.

From the Abstract: “Polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) concentrations in nearshore coastal sediments offshore of Matagorda, TX, average 29 f 28 (SD) ppb compared to 96 f 112 ppb for the sediments in adjacent coastal estuaries and bays.
From the Executive Summary: “Water column samples were taken at stations around two production platforms and near a well jacket and flare stack in the Buccaneer Oil Field during summer, fall, winter and spring periods (1978-1979).

From the Abstract: “The exploration and production of North Sea oil and gas reserves has resulted in the accumulation of large quantities of drill cuttings on the seabed surrounding drill sites.
Breuer, E., J. A. Howe, G. B. Shmmield, D. Cummings, and J. Carroll
From the Executive Summary: “This review concentrates on contaminant leaching from drill cuttings piles that have accumulated on the seabed of the northern and central North Sea (56°N-62°N) since th first exploratory wells were drilled in 1961.
