Hydrocarbons and sulfur
Abstract
This study examined the petroleum hydrocarbon components of the produced water discharge from production platforms in the Buccaneer Field, located 50.5 km south of Galveston, Texas. Results include an extensive list of the hydrocarbons/volatiles found in the produced water, along with data on the amount of petroleum hydrocarbons in associated fishes, shrimps, squid, plankton, and benthic invertebrates.
