Abstract

From Objectives: “The objective of this review is to summarize the current state of knowledge about the composition of water based muds (WBM) and associated drill cuttings, their fates following discharge to the ocean, and their effects on marine organisms and ecosystems.” This review encompasses a wide range of papers and most of the drilling localities.
