Fish of Timbalier Bay and offshore Louisiana environments collected by trawling
Abstract
From the Abstract: “Trawlings were made for fish in the vicinity of a drilling rig and production platform, and at a control site in Timbalier Bay and off Grand Isle, Louisiana, to determine whether or not oil activities have had any significant effect on fish populations…Earlier studies of fish populations pre-dating oil activities were similar to these findings, indicating that oil production has not had an adverse effect on fish populations.”
