From the Abstract: “Environmental surveys have been carried out annually in the North Sea to assess the extent of petroleum contamination around oil platforms using oil-based drilling mud.
The volume contains a series of papers examining the cumulative effects of petroleum drilling and production. The study centered on Timbalier Bay and the adjacent offshore in Louisiana.
