From the Non-Technical Summary: The purpose of this study was “1) to evaluate and compare the performance of the offshore and onshore removal options against the following performance criteria: technical feasibility; environmental and societal impact; energy usage and CO2 emissions; safety in terms of Potential Loss of Life; and cost. 2) To identify specific advantages and disadvantages that may affect the selection or development of options for marine growth removal during decommissioning.”
